AIG’s Employee Political Action Committee (AIG PAC) supports policymakers and candidates who represent the communities where we do business and whose views align with the company’s interests. With the Administration and U.S. Congress pursuing ambitious legislative and regulatory agendas, and state Governors and legislatures as active as ever, it is critical that AIG be engaged politically.
AIG PAC contributes to policymakers and candidates who hold leadership positions, serve on key committees, and/or represent large constituencies of AIG employees. AIG PAC is overseen by a Board of Directors that is broadly representative of our businesses and corporate functions, and which guides the PAC’s giving. AIG is committed to contributing to lawmakers from both parties, and from states and districts across the country. AIG PAC contributions are made without regard to the personal political views of AIG’s senior management or the PAC Board.
AIG employees voluntarily contribute funds to the AIG PAC, which are then disbursed based on applicable federal/state laws and AIG’s contribution strategy. AIG Government Affairs manages the day-to-day operations of the PAC.
